Visual Ethnography is a practice-led module that teaches students how to create a series of short ethnographic film clips. The course will be given in burst format and will be composed of a mix of lectures in Maynooth and fieldwork elsewhere. Students will receive a practical introduction to filmmaking, photography, lighting, sound and editing. Because students will require individual attention, this module is capped to 12 motivated individuals.

Note: students cannot register for this module with the permission of the Department of Anthropology
