On successful completion of the module, students should be able to:

As a result of this module, assuming that the student: 1) attends all lectures, diligently takes notes and 2) completes all assigned readings, studys the concepts in those readings and 3) completes all assigned work, gives full effort to that work, then is reasonable to assume that by the end of this module the student will:

1) be able to evaluate the validity of existing anthropological and other social science research on a particular special topic in Anthropology and
-
2) will be able to orally present relevant theoretical and ethographic data pertaining to the topic in question and
-
3) will be able to discuss critically, in essay form, recent theoretical and ethnographic works in Anthropology on the topic in question
