On completion of this module students will be familiar with principles and practices of leadership of and for learning and what constitutes quality teaching and learning within the school as learning environment. Quality as understood here is different to that of effectiveness of teaching and learning which is grounded in neo-liberal, technical functional modes of measurement.

Students will have explored a range of pertinent research insights relevant to practices of leadership of and for learning and analysed key national and international policy developments relevant to quality teaching and learning.
