This module introduces the students to educational research. It will focus on basic research methodologies suitable for the practitioner as researcher, with particular emphasis on action research (praxiology). Students will be introduced to literature reviews, data collection methods and ethics in research. The potential for action research to provide a mechanism for transformative change will be a central concern of the module.
