The aim of this module is to introduce the basic principles of structural computer programming and to introduce simple numerical methods of relevance to modelling of physical systems.

Module content
structural programming, basic input/output, mathematical functions, repetition and conditional operations, arrays, user defined functions, file handling. Numerical Integration, numerical root finding.
