This topics course in international finance starts by briefly reviewing the different types of exchange rate regimes and then discusses the current workings of the foreign exchange market. The connections between international assets markets, the ''parity conditions'' are examined in some detail. The core of this course is the issues surrounding exchange rate hedging; when it is required; how much of a hedge is needed and how it should be achieved.
