Twenty-first Century German-language Narratives of Migration and Belonging
This module brings together film and literature to explore different aspects of migration, from the German experience of expulsion at the end of World War II, to the fate of “guest workers” and asylum seekers in unified Germany, and the contemporary refugee crisis.

**This 5-ECTS credit module may be used as part of the 15-ECTS credits in the study of literature (including drama, poetry, fiction, film studies etc.) required for accreditation by the Teaching Council of Ireland. All applications submitted for Teaching Council accreditation are, however, subject to the Teaching Council’s internal evaluation processes.
