	This module examines some of the geographies of globalization. Particular attention is paid to the political and economic causes of globalization and a range of course materials, including a series of case studies, will be used to shed light on some of the spatial consequences of globalization. The module gives detailed consideration to the effects of globalization across a range of places and geographical scales.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Describe the main theoretical perspectives on globalization Identify some of the key processes producing globalization Apply different theoretical perspectives to analyze and explain the roles of institutions, agencies and actors in making globalization Analyze the spatial consequences of globalization in a variety of places and at a range of geographical scales
