• Discuss sources for medieval Ireland, including their strengths and weaknesses.
• Describe the social and political environments of medieval Ireland, with reference to primary and secondary source material.
• Demonstrate critical learning and research skills in both written and vocal forms.

• 24 contact hours or equivalent (lectures, seminars, field trips, etc.)

• Module Graded (numeric value) or Ungraded (Pass/Not Passed): Graded
• Continuous Assessment detail(s): Total Marks 100%. 5,000 word essay or shorter essay combined with class assignments/tests.

• Pass standard: 40%
• Could the result of this module be capped? No
• Penalties: No late material accepted unless medical or other compelling reasons are established in writing. The expectation is for full attendance by students.
