On successful completion of the module:
Students should have a good understanding of key theories of development.
Globalisation and social change.
Be able to understand and analyse the role of NGOs, the State and Civil Society in global processes of development
Have a basic understanding of different approaches to development practice, e.g., gender and development, sustainable development, Rights Based Approaches.
