This module builds on the knowledge and understanding acquired in the first semester respecting the formative elements of contract. The student will, among other things, study, and gain knowledge on, the elements that may lead to the failure or end of a contract through vitiation (mistake, misrepresentation, duress, undue influence), public policy (illegality and restraint of trade) and termination (discharge of contract, frustration) of a contract.

The module lecturer has the discretion to change any aspect of this module may change in any given academic year.
