Demonstrate critical appreciation of the complexity of modern conflicts and the challenges and risks of peacebuilding interventions
• Critique the key elements of the Comprehensive approach
• Analyse the role of culture and identity in conflict interventions
• Identify the main elements and the key principles which underpin conflict analysis
• Critique different conflict analysis frameworks
• Appreciate the emergence, nature and significance of lessons learned from CSDP conflict interventions
• Generate peacebuilding interventions that foster structures to maximise participation of people in decisions that affect their lives
