This English for Academic Purposes (EAP) module focuses on enabling students to acquire a sufficient command of the English language approximate to CEFR level B2.1 and involving all four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, to enable them to engage successfully with their academic studies across a range of subject areas. Students will be able to give accurate descriptions; express viewpoints; develop arguments; explain the main points in an idea with reasonable precision; express thoughts on abstract, cultural and academic topics with good levels of grammatical accuracy and lexical range.
