	Overview
	Module Objective: To give a rigorous course in complex dynamical systems. Selected topics could include some of the following: background in complex analysis in one variable; univalent functions, uniformisation, quasiconformal mappings, singular integral operators; dynamics of polynomial and rational maps; practical work using Maple (or Mathematica) and a programming language of the student's choice.

Module Objective:
To give a rigorous course in complex dynamical systems.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: State some of the classical theorems of Complex Dynamical Systems. Prove any of the theorems given in the course. Deduce properties which follow from these theorems. Prove analytic results using rigorous arguments.
