Courses / Module

This module is concerned with the exploration of various sound-design structures and how such structures can contribute to the overall message conveyed.
A variety of media forms, both experimental and established, are accessed.
The module also considers the use of software programmes, the management of project materials, sound recording, and concepts for creating coherent structures.

Learning Outcomes:

On completion of the module, students will:
1. Apply existing knowledge of audio production software to create original sound design
2. Manipulate digital audio through software applications
3. Present and interpret audio material
4. Be able to evaluate work-in-progress.
