The central focus of this module is to engage participants in professional, self-analytical, reflective and evaluative approaches to curriculum design in programme development. Students will consider the different preparations required for programme review at two levels - internal peer evaluation and external validation panels. The module will offer a variety of practice experiences in evaluative activities that will enable participants to reflect on the implications of programme design for providers, practitioners and learners. Through these processes, students will increase their knowledge of methods of evaluation and their confidence in defending programme design and assessment.
