• produce a high standard of written Academic Business English in style, form and function, and apply these written skills to both degree assessment and authentic business contexts (B2.2 CEFR)
• describe, explain and interpret in written form various types of visual information accurately and in detail, such as graphics, charts, diagrams and tables
• use appropriate research methods to locate and verify relevant sources and content
• apply accurate referencing and citation skills to written work in the field of Business English and across a range of source material, specifically in the Harvard referencing system.

• Module Graded (numeric value) or Ungraded (Pass/Not Passed): Graded

• Pass standard: 40%
• Could the result of this module be capped? 70% minimum in-class attendance required to pass module. Otherwise, result is capped at 35%.
• Penalties: Attendance policy: 70% minimum in-class attendance required to pass module. Otherwise, result is capped at 35%. For every day any assessed content is late, a penalty of 5% applies (unless valid reason supplied, with supportive documentation as necessary)
