The aim of this course is to provide students with the mathematical tools used in economics and business. Economists often rely on mathematics as the chosen language to describe and analyse economic behaviour. This course will discuss key mathematical concepts and explain how each tool is used in analysing economic behaviour. Topics covered include functions, financial mathematics, differentiation and linear algebra. |
