	Overview
	This module will develop the student�s competency in Mathematics necessary to confidently and competently teach across all ages in the primary classroom. Student teachers will develop competency and confidence around the use of relevant mathematical concepts, skills, and terminology. The module will support student teachers� engagement with mathematics methodology through their development relational understanding of mathematics which can be applied across the curriculum. To facilitate this, students will engage in reflective practice utilising their developing digital capacity. This development in professional growth in competency will promote professional agency to enact quality teaching and learning for all pupils.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Demonstrate and develop competency, accuracy and confidence in Mathematics relevant for primary-school teaching. Demonstrate the ability to reflect on their mathematical knowledge and how it can be integrated with relevant theories of education to inform their professional practice. Develop their understanding and capacity to confidently lead the mathematics learning in their professional role.
