Module AIRCRAFT FINANCING LAW

Module code: LW675
Credits: 15
Semester: 2
Department: LAW
International: Yes
Overview Overview

This module provides a survey of the legal aspects of financing aircraft and aircraft equipment. The course will
examine the Cape Town Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and its Aircraft Protocol and other
relevant laws pertaining to the taking of security in aircraft assets. Since Ireland is the hub for many of these financing
transactions, the course will draw on expertise from practitioners in this area to expose students to commonly used
leases and other security agreements.

This course will be taught only if a sufficient number of students enrol.

Any aspect of this module may be changed in any given academic year, subject to the discretion of the module lecturer.
