This is a 5 ECTS capstone module that is taken as a final module of the programme.
The aim of this final module is to direct and support participants to consolidate their personal and professional learning and development in respect of their teaching, learning and assessment practice across the modules of the diploma programme and present it as an online teaching portfolio that can be used for their ongoing professional development.
Presentation of the learning and development journey of the participant is through an online Teaching Portfolio that includes their reflection on, and showcasing of, specific examples and artefacts of learning, development, and achievement. They present evidence of their learning and development in line with given criteria, through reflective and academic narratives that introduce evidence and artefacts. Their unique portfolio will tell the story of how they have changed personally and professionally as a result of learning and engagement with the programme. It will identify how their learning and development has impacted their students. It will also set out goals to continue with their learning and development of practice into the future.
