MH304 Bachelor of Electronic Engineering is accredited by Engineers Ireland and is recognised internationally. The five year Master of Engineering in Electronic Engineering at Maynooth University is also accredited by Engineers Ireland and meets the educational standard required to become a chartered engineer. In MH304 Electronic Engineering, students take the same modules in 1st, 2nd and 3rd year. In 4th year, students specialise in one of the following three options:

This course requires 2 additional subjects Mature students - Information: Mature Applicants Mature applicants are assessed separately to school-leavers. Mature applicants are 23 years or older by 1st January in the year of entry to the University. For part-time/flexible degrees the mature age is 21. Mature applicants who have a disability If you have a disability or specific learning difficulty (e.g. dyslexia), and require examination support for any written tests that may be required, please submit supporting documentation by 15 March 2024 to the Access Office. Leaving Certificate Applicants Required to present 2H5 & 4O6/H7, Irish, English & a Science subject (i.e. Agricultural Science, Applied Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics, Physics with Chemistry or Technology) & H4 Mathematics. MH304 Round 1 Points 2023: 353 Applicants under 23 years of age need to have attained at least 350 points in their Leaving Certificate or equivalent plus basic entry requirements. HEAR and DARE DARE: The Disability Access Route to Education is a third level alternative admissions scheme for school-leavers whose disabilities have had a negative impact on their second level education. HEAR: The Higher Education Access Route is a third level admissions scheme for school leavers from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds.
